Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation surgeries (augmentation mammaplasty) are known as one of the most common aesthetic procedures in the world.

The basic principle of breast augmentation surgery is to add new volume to the breast by placing breast prostheses made of silicone through small incisions. The prosthesis is placed in pockets opened under the mammary glands or under the muscle, depending on the presence of existing breast tissue.

Breast augmentation surgeries are performed under general anesthesia. The procedure is performed through small incisions made in the inframammary groove, armpit or just below the nipple. The scars of these incisions are also hidden by the surgeon. After the surgery, which takes about 2 hours, the patient can return to her normal life within a few days.
