Fillers
It is used in areas where there is thought to be a lack of subcutaneous tissue. The commonly and legally used substance is hyaluronic acid. Its application is practical but its permanence varies between 6 months to 1 year. In addition, it may show reactions in some allergic people and show a mass effect in the areas where it is applied. The areas of application are mainly facial contouring procedures such as giving volume to the lips, correction of nasolabial lines and clarification of chin and cheek contours.
*** Fat injection is an alternative to artificial fillers. Its advantage is that it does not cause any reaction and is permanent since it is people's own tissue (autograft). The disadvantage is that the procedure cannot be performed under local anesthesia and some of the fat tissue melts.
